Boltop is a puzzle game for iPhone and iPad, made by Emre Berk, in which bears clear pixel pictures. This page explains what data the game uses and why.
The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how it is played, for example which levels are started, completed or failed, how long a level takes, whether the tutorial is completed, and when settings such as sound or speed are changed.
To do this, Firebase uses an app instance identifier and your device's vendor identifier, and works out your approximate (country or city level) location from your IP address. The game doesn't collect your name, email address, contacts, photos or precise location.
This data is not linked to your identity, is not used for advertising and is not sold. It is kept according to Google Analytics' data retention settings. For details on how Google handles this data, see Google's Privacy Policy and Firebase's privacy and security page.
Your level progress and settings (such as sound on or off) are saved only on your device, in standard app storage. They are not sent to me, and they are deleted when you delete the app.
Boltop is suitable for all ages. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics described above are not linked to anyone's identity and are only looked at in aggregate. If you are a parent or guardian and have a concern, please contact me.
